D'Yamba!  From Black House, a powerful word in the novel by Stephen King.  It has magical powers beyond belief.  Just speaking the word affects the world around you.

You will find many wonderful things here.  Maybe you didn't know that Hearts In Atlantis, or The Shawshank Redemption, or The Green Mile were based on books by Stephen King.  You will learn what many of his fans already know, Stephen King is not a horror writer.  He is an exceptional author that happens to write horror stories, but that's not all he writes.  Romance, mystery, action, and more styles have been conquered by Stephen King.  Explore a bit and be surprised by what you find.  Don't be afraid...

D'Yamba News

10 December 2005

Well, I'm back.  Sort of.  I decided to put the site back up on a different host, just to see how it works, before moving my main domain over.  I might get into updating this site again, or I might not...we'll just have to see.

I've obviously not been updating the site as much as I would like to.  Life and work have started getting in the way.  However, here is an updated list of links to The Dark Tower series novels:

Hardcover
The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three
The Dark Tower III: The Wastelands
The Dark Tower IV: Wizard & Glass
The Dark Tower V: The Wolves of the Calla

The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah (08 June 2004)
The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower (21 September 2004)

Paperback
The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three
The Dark Tower III: The Wastelands
The Dark Tower IV: Wizard & Glass
The Dark Tower V: The Wolves of the Calla (January 2005)
The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah
The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower

For anyone interested in The Dead Zone television series, season 2 will be released on Tuesday 08 June 2004.  It is available here:  The Dead Zone - The Complete Second Season

I received an e-mail from Lions Gate this week letting me know of the release of the Dead Zone first season DVD.  It's a 4-disc set that includes all 13 episodes from the first season.  As I'm still getting caught up on the rest of the site, the Dead Zone series page isn't updated just yet (doesn't even exist yet), so here's a direct link to Amazon.com for the DVD.

The Dead Zone - The Complete First Season

This was the first bit of news that was mailed directly to me from a major company.  It was very exciting opening it up and I hope it happens more often in the future.  Thank you Lorene.

Last week's update had links for the new Viking hardcover re-releases.  Here are the links for the new Plume paperback re-releases:

The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three
The Dark Tower III: The Wastelands
The Dark Tower IV: Wizard & Glass
The Dark Tower V: The Wolves of the Calla
The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah
The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower

I'm still tweaking the "All Formats" section of each page, so I've gone back and updated Bag of Bones, Black House, Blood & Smoke, and Carrie again, as well as getting Christine completed.  I'm trying to list every edition that has a page at Amazon.com.  This include books that are out of print, so the list under "All Formats" can get quite lengthy for Stephen King's older books.  This occurs because King's entire catalog gets re-released periodically with new covers and/or new introductions.
